^Maybe, but I'd guess someone at WB/CW thought "Arrow" sounded "edgier" (pun intended). I think he's still called Green Arrow within the series.

I'm surprised at him killing people. The show is trying to be an adult drama/ soap opera. Not my favorite tone for a show. I wish they'd tried to balance the drama with some fun adventure like the first 3-4 years of Smallville. I don't know. 10 minutes left and I'm feeling very neutral.

i liked it a lot. great start to the show. i actually liked that he was killing scumbags. more realistic that way and GA has done it in the comics too

I liked it. reminded me a little of the Green Arrow Mini Series by Von Eeden. Anyone catch the Mike Grell reference? One of the guys was called Grell. Also, was that a Deathstroke Mask in the beginning of the show when Ollie is on the Island??
