    Oozers! A forgotten monster line

In digging stuff up for the Canadian Toy Con in September, I found this in my garage. Lord knows how long it's been there but I can see kind of why I bought it.

Irwin was a Canadian firm and this is from Woolco, I barely remember these. It's a take on the ooze it figure from the early 80s.

I like how the Jason character is a goalie, nice cover. I've never seen a Drac Baby but I'd be tempted to get him.

Somewhere at my Grandmother's house is the 1991 Consumers distributing catalog and it features the whole line, I'll go dig it up.

Looks like the Oozers name and concept got recycled for the "Stretch Screamers" brand a couple years later.

That's really cool! I've never seen those before. Looks like the ooze glows in the dark too. Hopefully you can find the catalog. Be neat to see it.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Brain Drain looks like a knock off of The Watchmen's Rorschach.

Looks more like the Invisible Man to me.

Does Drac Baby remind anyone of the Joker?

That's actually kind of neat. Reminds me a bit of the first Venom figure from Toy Biz's first Marvel line. He came with a spider-shaped bottle full of slim and you shot it out of his chest.

The Jason guy looks a bit like the Mad Max bad guy too.

You have the coolest grandma ever.

Irwin made a lot of the early Barbie vehicles, officially licensed by Mattel, including Ken's Roadster and Barbie's Austin Healey.

I bought one of those on a road trip with a friend, he grabbed it and poured all the ooze into his mouth. Drinking and toys don't mix.

I like the drac the best of the bunch, but I like the design.

I wonder how good the ooze in the package is after all these years. I wouldnt want to see someone try and drink that.

Was your friend overtaken by an alien symbiote? Does he go into jazz clubs and breakout into embarrassing impromptu dance numbers and slap waitresses?
