Thread: Garage sale find.... who is he?

    Thanks palitoy for the link.
I remember collector/speculators going crazy over the talking Freddy Krueger doll at the time. The buzz was that Matchbox was dicontinuing it and it was gonna be worth a fortune. Sadly Maxx FX was doomed to the same fate, for having come out with a Freddy outfit in the first release. As cool as Maxx was, I don't think Conserned Interest Groups would have missed him as an evil toy, if he had not been released with the Freddy outfit. I heard: "Toy companies have no business making toys of rated-R movie characters, that's just wrong". As cool as the other outfits were and are, and aimed at the older boys into action heroes, American Werewolf in London, Friday the 13th, and Alien, were rated-R movies.

Hey,I found one of that guy though mine was not in the correct outfit and was re-rubberbanded by a hair scrunhie! He is a Talbot ninja, but the mold was recycled from Luca from LJN's swat team line. Here's the link(On another note, they must have had hair variations,as yours has a lighter and darker brown, but the one in Megolike's pic has blonde...)

That was a great read, though I think he is wrong about the value of the Universal license.
