Hard for me to get worked up over this. I'm getting to the point where I don't care. Kind of like Chris wrote above, my DCU is off someplace else on an alternate world or in hypertime.
I'm still reading some of the comics, but my emotional investment in the characters now is about as low as it can be.
But I don't think they're going to kill Dick Grayson. How is the book selling?

I really Like Dick Grayson/ Nightwing. If they killed him off, It would stop my comic book madness dead in its tracks. I liked when Dick picked up the mantle the first time, not so much the second time. And this new red costume sucks. And finally can we get his mask right, its different every week....His character lacks consistancey...give him back the blue and the black, minimize the mask, and give him a freakin story line...that doesn't kill him off.

wasn't it Didio who, a few years back, when they were planning on killing Dick Grayson, said that they realized he was too integral to the DC universe. too intertwined with almost every other character. basically the soul of the DCU.
Didio might be the worst thing to ever happen to DC, he needs to go.
Geoff Johns saved Dick from death by refusing to write it into Infinite Crisis. He eventually got Didio to move on.
