Do you think the theaters will settle with Disney? I'm assuming they will but I'm curious when they'll start selling tickets.

I was really impressed with the film.

Tony sure goes through the wringer in this third installment!

There are some outstanding action set pieces, lots of great character moments, and some genuine surprises.

Saw it in IMAX 3D. The 3D in this movie is great in some places, and satisfactory overall.

Great score, too. Certainly one of the more memorable efforts.

I won't post any more, to avoid potential spoilers.

But as usual, make sure you stay until after the credits. The "stinger" is a fun one in IM3.

          Reviews have been great!

Plagued with worry and insomnia since saving New York from destruction, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), now, is more dependent on the suits that give him his Iron Man persona -- so much so that every aspect of his life is affected, including his relationship with Pepper (Gwyneth Paltrow). After a malevolent enemy known as the Mandarin (Ben Kingsley) reduces his personal world to rubble, Tony must rely solely on instinct and ingenuity to avenge his losses and protect the people he loves.

At the Hollywood premiere of Iron Man 3, Whedon said that he completed a draft of the [Avengers 2] script which included a "brother/sister act" from the comic books.

Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch? Seems like they'd be tied up with the XMen.

Not so much that I really liked it, just that it certainly came as a surprise because I'd avoided all spoilers before seeing the movie.

Apparently, the cinematic rights to those characters are jointly held by Fox and Marvel Studios.

Marvel Films' head honcho Kevin Feige has said that those two characters are unique in that both Fox and Marvel share the rights to use them in films.

^^ That sounds really cool. I remember Donner saying she wished that the X-Films and the MCU were 'one big movieverse,' so I guess that might actually happen. Also, it seems like RDJ is really retiring as IM (despite the fact that he wanted to do at least a few more movies). The studio are eyeing Bradley Cooper, Colin Farrell, James Franco, Elon Musk and Jon Hamm to replace Downey Jr as the new Tony Stark.

Not one name on that list will replace RDJ.

Elon Musk? He's not even an actor.
