I have always wanted to make Ditko-style Spiderman villains, but without heads, it's next to impossible. I received an old buzzard head today, and after examining it and comparing it to the Ditko artwork in Spiderman #2, it is perfect. I am very excited about the possibility of having a set of spidey villains in the early 60's style. Nice work Dr!

Thanks Derek. That's one rare prototype you got there.
I'm saving up my pennies to buy some light tan resin. Then some silicone rubber, some plastic cups, some oil-base clay, some sheet styrene, some baby powder, and glue. Let's see...oh,I got stirring sticks.

Good news! Last night I ordered 8 lbs. of light tan resin. As soon as I can get quality casting from the first three molds, (Old Buzzard, Professor Squid, and Beach Bully.) I'll be offering them here. Looking to purchase silicone rubber in the near future. I'm hoping that by X-mas to have castings of everything todate, available here. Thank you one and all for the patience/support. Just like my haircuts, I want to give you far more than your money's worth. Spoil your customers and repeat business will follow. Quality matters. You members deserve nothing less.

I think your going overboard with the tan resin. Customizers will paint the skin. If you mess up a smidge you have to paint skin to fix....am I wrong?

I'm not sure that the resin color matters. I only mentioned it because that's what I ordered.
Early 'Old Buzzard' prototypes were cast in black. Didn't seem to matter on the one I painted.
The choice to purchase 8 lbs. was based on price point with shipping.

In the current direction I'm going, SM would be based on the Kirby, over the Everett. The costume I want to do is the impossible winged black-vest version with trident.

Guess who got his resin today.
Perhaps I should post a pick of the original three on 1/9th bodies.

Those heads look fantastic! Can't say enough how you've brought the Ditko look to 3-D life. Nice work!
