I've given thought to that idea. Still, sculpting and tooling the plugs myself, is probably just as much effort. It really is the fastest part of my process.

I was TOTALLY thinking that. I've been wanting to do a V alien forever!

Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12

Same here! I'm in for a couple of these heads if they are going to be sold.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

Glad to hear there is interest in the selling castings.
I'm sorry the process is taking so long. Truth is, I could have castings available now for sale. But sadly, they would have ruined my reputation in no time. I can't imagine customers who are willing to buy garbage castings until I learn to improve the quality. I don't believe any amount of 'I'm just doing this for fun.' 'I'm still learning.' and 'It's good enough'., would convince my customers that they were not a victim of "Bait and Switch".
Even quality castings require clean up and prep work. The poor casting I could provide now, would take almost as much effort to prep, as to sculpt from scratch. When a bubble appears on a smooth surface, it's a pretty quick fix. When bubbles appear on eyes, noses and other detailed features, the cast can quickly becomes a salvation job. Now imagine these problems with micro bubbles all over the suface of the cast almost like sea coral. Sure it would help protect me from recasters, but in the end, I'd just be selling garbage. I'm not worried about the simple fixes, most customizers here can handle that. It's the salvation projects that scare me.
As for money, I am a poor man. But even a poor man, can afford integrity. Oh, and thanks to indoor plumbing, hygiene! Sorry, liecensed barber.

Although Mezco is doing a Frankenstein doll that's head is in the proportions of the Dick Briefer Frankenstein, it falls way short of his design. After purchasing the book; "Dick Briefer's Frankenstein", I've begun my own. It's not in the 8 inch mego scale. It's more 9-10 inch, like the Nosferatu and Hyde. No pics now, but coming soon.

Good news everyone. I have plans to meet with my commissioner and purchase and retrieve all work to date. I've decided nobody should do the mold making and casting besides me. Bad news everyone, the wait just got longer. Money and R&D is a killer. But the heads keep rolling. New head pics coming soon.

I've been re-reading a paticular series about one arachnid bit teenager -- most of these heads are perfect 60's Kirby/Ditko style. I mean you nailed it.

Visited my commissioned mold maker caster. Retreived my original three heads and all work todate; Old Buzzard, Professor Squid, and Beach Bully molds. Commissioner gave me a one on one demonstration in molding and casting. The best part was being able to ask questions along the way.
