I've been nothing but polite with this guy, and he's already starting to get nasty. He actually said if he'd used the right color parts I'd never even have known he fixed it. So much for disclosure.

You should be fine. If anything eBay sides way too often with the buyer but in this instance you are totally in the right. Just follow the directions from eBay to the letter. Only correspond with the seller through eBay and save everything. Fool. Just call them and point it out as they read the messages so they know exactly what this guy is all about.
