    Exclamation Fantastic Four Marvel NOW

In interested in some of the Marvel Now comics, especially Fantastic Four & Captain America. Unlike DC New 52...Marvel is describing it as a "soft re-boot". More of just a good jumping on point for those who haven't been following the comic for awhile and trying to keep up with years of continuity. Sounds good to me.
I know not all of you are fans of Mark Bagley...but I like him a lot. I think he draws the best Peter Parker of today's artists(NOT his Ultimate version though).
So, I'm pretty happy that he's taking over Fantastic Four and can't wait for issue #1!

The story arc for Fantastic Four actually sounded interesting to me so I might jump on board...

Kuodos to Bagley for drawing the Human Torch correctly. I hate when artists just draw Johnny with no shadows, and they color him orange. That doesn't say "fire" to me.

That's exactly what I was saying, many artist were relying on the colorist....and Johnny never looked like what he is a human torch.......

I also agree with this! I hate it when they draw him on fire with hair...it just looks wrong. I'm glad for the fresh start with FF, I think it was needed right now. I had cancelled the book for awhile...but I'll be picking it up again.

Cool - I keep hearing that Matt Fraction is a great writer - but I never knew where I should start with his stuff - so I'll probably check this out!

Oooh, this might get me back to the FF. I thought Bagley was supposed to be the next big thing at DC? He jump back to Marvel? Looks like they found him the perfect inker in Mark Farmer, too.

^ Bagley was only at DC for a year...They had him working on that weekly "Trinity" series with Kurt Busiek and did nothing else with him...

Cause DC doesn't want clean classic type artists anymore. They want Jim Lee and Image clones. This whole Marvel Now thing is everything DC's wasn't: fun with big names on all the big books.

I think Marvel's idea sounds much stronger than what DC is doing. The idea of reintroducing instead of re-branding is the way to go. Nice cover art too.
It's not how hard you hit, but how hard you can be hit and still move forward.
