By the way this is the first time I ever get the#1 pick...I wanted Rodgers so bad but could'nt justify picking a QB#1 over all

Rodgers went #4 and the guy who picked him offered me Rodgers & Turner for Foster & RG3 or Romo..what do you guys think?

D, I always set up my team (Yahoo let's you join a free public league based on what day and time you want to draft) to draft once the practice games (pre-season) are over. That way is someone gets injured I don't end up drafting them. Seen it happen before with guys first round selections which is a huge bummer. So the Sunday before the regular season is when I will be drafting my team. Who was your first pick? Just curious. I would not make the trade you posted only because Turner is on the backside of his career and they have continued to become a more pass orientated team. And this is coming from a big fan of Turner the burner. Remember him well from his days at NIU which is only about 30 minutes or so South of me. I have drafted him before myself but I wouldn't give up Foster for him. I don't think the difference between Romo and Rodgers outweighs the difference between the two backs. I will say that years ago the RBs were almost always the first players off the board. Now it is becoming the top QBs as the NFL has become much more of a passing league then it was in the past.

Hey B, I picked up Foster first...2nd was Ray rice 3rd LeSean MCcoy

I was surprised AP fell to me in the 2nd despite his injury and since I picked first in the 3rd I took McFadden..Some clown had drafted Bree's first and Stafford 2nd just to mess with me, so i picked up RB's just to get him back...so I got stuck with Romo again this year

Rodgers has been the number one points scoring FF player the last two years in a row. Picking him up with the 2nd pick last year was a big reason I won. I'd take him with my first pick any day.

That's a pretty good looking team right there. Keep Foster for sure. If DMac can stay healthy you will be tough to beat. Romo will be just fine.

I am getting so excited for football and can't wait for 3 of my fantasy league drafts to start next week.
