Cuba used to get a ton more medals during the Soviet era though.

Disappointingly, Canada is currently down in 28th place.
But of course, the Winter Olympics are Canada's forte.

The U.S. will definitely pull away from China now that many of the sports that China typically dominates in are over. Track and Field is up which is when the U.S. typically accelerates past China. I read somewhere that the U.S. was expected to win 103 medals in this Olympics. That was pre Olympics predictions. Not sure if we're still on track, above, or below.
