    Classic Japanese Animation Appreciation Thread....

Going through my brothers collection and came across a figure I bought for him probably around 2000. Got it from a seller in Seattle...and I remember him also have the boxed playset for these figures. At the time the figure was all I could afford. Knowing my brother loves the Yamato series I had to get it for him. I don't even think he remembers me giving it to him because when he was taking pics of figures from his collection he didn't take a picture of this...and I know he would have if he knew he had it and where it was...Enjoy Derek Wildstar:

Anyone else have any classic Japanese Animation figures or toys or what have you?

I used to play Star Blazers with my X-wing fighter Luke Skywalker. (Sometimes Chewbacca was SPIDER-MAN of all people. My imagination must have been smoking dope when I was a kid.)

    Hmmmm....

I got rooms full of model kits. Way back in the day you could get them for super-cheap around here. Wasn't until 20 years later I found out what most of them were.

I once found a ton of the old Matchbox/Harmony Gold 3.75 inch Robotech figures on clearance at a toy market stall. Also the Zentraedi Powered Armour. All carded & boxed, in great condition.

The stall closed down a couple of years ago, which was too bad as it often sold vintage stuff for crazy low prices.
