Thread: Batman custom auction. This is crazy

The same seller has another great figure listed "MEGO STYLE 1966 BATMAN TV SERIES ADAM WEST FIGURE MOC #03/66". Incredible work. Love this item.

He's been selling these for awhile. It's a classic mego Batman with Batman 66 repaint, a 12 inch utility belt, and a custom card. He does have alot of buyers fanbase. Something about these and some prototypes he's sold of an unmentionable ex member makes me think I see a monster in there somewhere.

Guess I’m just a novice at best. To me I’m amazed at the quality and effort. Can certainly see why the seller has a fanbase. Top notch stuff!

To each their own. Fact is while most of us know the cost the buyer who doesn't know that only sees a cool finished product. Same reason sometimes you'll see pieces with tons of repro parts fetch good money. Purists may hate it but there are plenty of people just looking for a nice figure period.

No doubt he has some amazing looking customs. But some of the prices they sell for are ridiculous.

    Great looking Batmen, nonetheless.

Very nice custom cards (and the West Batman works), but the price is nut.

Although it does prove Mattel's Retro-Action line had some really crappy packaging. Look how much better that Batman looks on a good card.

Ebay is a neccessary evil for most collectors but only just that.

You will find nicer deals & nicer people here IMO.

This is from the same seller that sells Mego Adam West Batman customs for $600+ and I smell something fishy with his auctions. I can't prove it, but I'm sure he's shill bidding
