Thread: 80s GI Joes

Can't agree. Even though I love Transformers (mostly the first 2-3 years), it's hard finding them in good shape. They got worn out easily and they typically have broken parts, loose joints, decal wear, etc.

I'm lucky to have found some great ones over the years.

Most of the vintage transformers you find today are damaged or missing parts , so that's a great find

I have a bunch of the old transformers but I never really played with them because they were too damn delicate (unlike G.I. Joe figures)

  4. They arent meant to be bashed together

I think some of them may erode in the joints over time.

Bumping this thread because I went back today and bought some more stuff. This fella has an unbelievable amount of stuff in his garage and shed--just a bigtime hoarder. Anyway, was hoping to find the GI Joe figs this time around and he can't find them. I did wind up with a rather large lot of Dino Riders stuff. I mean A BUNCH. All mint/unplayed with. Pretty cool line. Also snagged one Battle Beasts item--he said he's got a bunch of that stuff too! I'll being hitting him up from time to time.....

I can see why, going thru this stuff it's a super fun line. I've been getting a crash course on late 80s toys with this buy and it's been a lot of fun. I have a new found respect for 80s stuff.
