Sadly, the family values part will be thrown away, and we'll be subjected to yet another "clueless adults/parents & smart-aleck kids" sitcom, same as EVERYTHING they show on the Disney Channel.

the creativity of Americans has gone to hell... Reboots, spinoffs, remakes, etc are mostly garbage!

there is enough out there to not have to resort to this crap.

It has less to do with creativity and more to do with money. Companies are more willing to invest in known or at least familiar properties. The audience is dumb apparently. Notice how quickly a show that doesn't catch on in a few weeks gets chopped right away. Notice how every movie trailer gives away most of the plot of the movie. It's all about instant returns.

Starsky's Hutch premieres this fall. It's a gripping emotional drama about a cop (Starsky) whose partner is killed. Trying to cope, he forms a strong emotional bond with his grandmother's dining room furniture.

Maybe they should call it Starky and Hooch. And Huggy Bear can be Hoochie Momma.
It's not how hard you hit, but how hard you can be hit and still move forward.

    Hmmmm....

As for Hollywood being out of ideas and such; it's all explained here:

    http://www.cracked.com/blog/4-reason...all-our-fault/

....and they're right. It IS our fault. I think #2 is particularly pertinent.

As to a dark, gritty Brady reboot; didn't they already do this, back in the ealry '90s or somesuch? Not the movies, an actual tv show.

Serioulsy, give #2 there some thought.....

It's hilarious that everyone here complains about Hollywood being out of ideas when there is thread after thread on this board exclaiming the virtues of the latest big budget superhero blockbuster reboot.

Yeah CBS' "The Bradys"...an hour-long dramedy that featured Marcia as an alcoholic, Bobby in a wheelchair (married to Martha Quinn), and Jan and her husband unable to conceive a child so they adopt..
