My Mego Vacation Search update. Took my wife on a romantic dinner/stroll thru New Hope, PA and of course scurried around Love Saves The Day while she checked out the vintage duds. Boxed Capt America mego is now $249 dropped from $295 but box and shield almost looks too nice. Teen Titans carded but seperating is still$2,200 for set of four yikes. Boxed Dorothy$49 too high still, but the boxed REmco mummy was on sale for$100 not bad price. Other random loose mego figures were there but still priced way high to even bother listing prices on mm. Carded Hulk $149, you get the idea.
P.S. spoke to Frank, owner of It's a Toy Store in Richland, NJ. Really nice guy, says he a former serious collector of megos and has about 25(!) loose and boxed figures in his store. i asked if any of the boxed were conan thor riddler or reed (my last wants) but he said no. Tip: even though he's not as into megos like he used to, he's priced them high because it wouldn't kill him to NOT sell them. However, he was willing to negotiate for real mego collectors like myself, which to me is indicative of what a real stand up guy he is. He wasn't gonna be in store tomorrow but if I came I was to have staff call him for a better mego price. Nice! He did not have mego accessories for sale but it sounded like he had some other mego type stuff besides figures.
Following two mego leads tomorrow which I will report after I vist them.
Great info... Thanks for all the updates!!!
Its a toy store is awesome !! A lot of neat stuff.

I had to choose a flea market, the one in Philly at the Synagogue suggested by a mm member (thanks!) or a high end one in Lambertville, NJ called the Golden Nugget which is across the river from new hope, PA. I went to the Golden Nugget as it was closer and the good news is it was loaded with vintage toys mostly from the 40s 50s and 60s but sadly there was no mego sightings. Also, this flea market is very well known with a couple hundred established antique vendors and newbies in a well known antique town and as a result EVERYONE selling pretty much knew what they were selling and what it was worth. Hundreds of vendors selling amazing stuff from two hundred year old paintings to 1950s toy store displays to awesome records to a medical mannequin torso in labor with removable baby that was "crowning" from the life size and life like pelvic area...yeeikes! as usual when I ask the toy vendors if they see megos its always "oh yeah I had a bunch of those but they're gone" (is it ever true? You never know) it's evry wed sat and sunday and theres a huge antigue mall attached but the power was out cuz of a storm so i couldn't get in this morn... I saw more than a few vendors with piles of 60s barbie clothes which lends me to believe a local mm guy might find a quiet score here with regular visits.
Lambertville is where I got my first carded MEGOs. They had the Fantastic 4. This was back in the 1990s so you didn't just miss them.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.
