tire valve cover makes perfect custom mego head

For years I have wanted to make a custom Red Skull Mego. The other day while cleaning the garage I came across these chrome skull valve covers. They are used on the valve stems of car tires. Upon further looking I noticed that the valve cover was an exact size match for an 8 inch Mego. These valve covers are available at Canadian Tire in Canada, and Pep Boys in the USA. The skull could even be used to make a terminator Mego. That would be cool. Just thought I would pass this along.

Yes that is the exact match. I put the skull next to a Mego superman head and it is almost 100% dead on accurate for size. The threaded bottom should make for easy attachment.
