Also, Carter Burwell has left the film due to 'unhappiness with the director.' A replacement is being searched for. They should get Patrick Doyle to do the film. He revealed that he was 'in talks' to return, so why not seal the deal now?

Alan Taylor said said he shot extra scenes with Tom Hiddleston and was about to shoot more with Anthony Hopkins. Taylor explained that it was all apart of the "Marvel process" saying, "We're doing full scenes, scenes that were not in the movie before. We're adding scenes, creating scenes, writing scenes for the first time. The one [involving Loki] was a fun connective scene... We realised how well Loki was working in the movie, and we wanted to do more with him. So it was that kind of thing, it was like, 'Oh, we could do this, we could jam this in here' because he's such a wonderful guy to watch do his stuff."
