Plaid Stallions Mantique : A new name for terror

How does one market some of the oddest, unflattering ensembles ever put to thread? By giving them the worst, slightly homoerotic name ever. Feast your eyes ladies and gents on someone looking to get fired.

Seriously, this would be a good time to close up shop here at PS, I've discovered attrocities for six years but truly I will never surpass the Mantique.

    The bar has been set.

I'm trying to figure out what the guy in purple has in the middle of his chest. Is it a shirt of some kind or is it suppose to be fake chest hair?

I think these are the male version of Fembots! (Bionic Woman, not Austin Powers). And those are ruffles on purple man's chest.

Ruffled shirts quite the rage in the late 60's and early 70's....That's why the 3rd Doctor, Our Man Flint and Austin Powers wear them. They were still popular for formal wear till the 80's

If there ever is to be a rogues gallery for Brick Mantooth these two would certainly be some of his most feared. Their never ending purpose is to strip him of his cool and bind him in one of these mojo sucking, sleeveless unitards. The Mantique Guild of Polyester Pain: Resistance causes chaffing - OR - Cocaine: It's a terrible drug.

And here I thought a Mantique was an old vintage beer sign, or handmade fishing lures.

This boggles the mind. If you did shut down PS I would be sad, but no one would blame you after discovering...THIS.

You have reached the end of a terrible, dark journey.
