I think some of the folks who say they don't remember the Krofft Supershow w/ Kaptain Kool and the Kongs and Bigfoot and Wildboy, and Wonderbug, are 80s babies. But you guys who don't know what we're talking about can look them up on YouTube. There is a guy who has a TON of Krofft Supershow eps. (he even made copies for me!). Saturday morning at its finest!

Kaptain Kool was Michael Lembeck who was Julie's husband on "One Day At A Time"...
Yes!!! Thank you. I know I recognized him from somewhere.

Bigfoot and Wildboy..,I loved that showed when I was a little boy. As I recall, even the intro was really good.

I was definitely a 70's kid (born in 67) and I just don't recall these at all, except maybe Wonderbug. That seems very vaguely familiar but I don't think I ever actually watched it.

For a lot of us 70's kids, the Krofft brand was more important to us than Disney. If a TV show carried the Krofft brand, I knew it would be worth watching. I loved visiting Six Flags Over Georgia because Krofft characters roamed the park and greeted visitors. Pufnstuf was way more important to me than Mickey Mouse.

Oh yeah! If I had been given a choice between seeing Mickey Mouse or Sigmund The Sea Monster, Siggy would have won hands down!

Think I watched most, if not all, of the Krofft shows when I was a kid. The psychedelic visuals, the puppets, the music, the sheer presence of acting powerhouses Johnnie Whitaker and Jack Wild (remember when they teamed up on that one episode of Sigmund and the Sea Monsters? Playing the flute did lil' Jimmy something good - dude went from Pufnstuf to Buff n' stuff!).

Also, Electra Woman and Dynagirl. Yowza.

No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."
