    Oh, man, that is a giant punch in to the gut. I would have loved every last one of those. This is disappointing, but I'll still be excited about whatever you guys can/do make in the future. I love this line and what you've done with it so i'll support it until the end.

    Alex, I wouldn't speak for BBP! but the release read to me like certain characters currently have licensing issues precluding them from being issued - though other characters/figures are in the works. Specifically I mean the phrase "restricted to certain creatures and monsters going forward." Though Jason's comment above about being excited about the entire line in past-tense makes the status a bit confused, leaving me to wonder as well.

    I'm curious about this image though:


    I get that head art would be enlarged for sculpting reference, but it would seem to me that concept guides like this would want things in production scale, wouldn't they?
    I've never seen it done this way, how does the process work?

    How is it though that some of these figures, like Santa, Maya and the Clown have been solicited/shown at toy shows and conventions and have had pre-orders taken before without getting proper authorization as far as likeness/license? Kinda putting the horse before the cart, no?
