Just wanted to give a quick update on the status of the female action figure body. I received pictures from the factory of the revised sample and based on what I saw everything looks correct. In about two weeks I should have a new production sample in hand to review and if it's approved I'll start taking preorders ASAP.

Assuming the next production sample I receive is approved I could see these being available by December, possibly a little sooner.

Are there even any toy manufacturers left in the USA

I really wish that there were toy manufacturers in the U.S., it would save on having to get stuff made in China, or Taiwan, or Japan.

The factory I'm using is located in China. There might be a few toy manufacturers left in the US but I think they primarily make wooden toys.

I should be receiving images of the revised production samples tonight. If I like what I see they'll send me the samples so I can check them out and make sure that all the revisions were done correctly. If the samples are approved I'll start taking preorders ASAP.
