Thread: $1700+ for a Removable Cowl Batman MIB?

  1. #1

Exclamation $1700+ for a Removable Cowl Batman MIB?

Hake's latest auction starts closing at noon today, and I was shocked when I checked the Mego section and saw that their Removable Cowl Batman is now sitting at $1705 plus 15% buyer's premium, making it almost $2000 total.

This has to be a record of some kind:

So is there something special about this one that I"m not aware of, or is it just two guys with deep pockets that really want it?

Super minty piece bringing a primo price.

Perhaps someone won the lottery and has been looking for this piece for a long, long time.

Sentimentality will cause you to make irrational financial decisions.

Maybe I should offer mine up to the other potential buyer for $1500! Make him/her feel they got a good deal!

But, that means that there were at least two crazy bidders. Someone else also had to be involved to bring the price to that level
