That particular pair. . . .I'd say $75 would be a good price if that vest is legit original. I'll need to check the inside of the vest before I can say for sure. The Batman only has that one chin blemish. The boots are original Ledy. The bodysuit is good. That bodysuit on Robin is prone to holes since it is a Type 1 cotton suit. The hole isn't too big. I wish Robin's eye paint were more defined, but it's still a good mask, at least.

That Robin vest just doesn't look quite kosher IMO (I also think the same of the one on the Ledy Supes).

Now that I think of it, I don't think I've ever seen a Mego with a missing stitched belt. It would be no easy feat to remove one, even on purpose. There are a lot of stitches involved (I just took a quick count on my Ledy Cap, there's nearly 40 stitches total). So it's very odd to see this one with a missing belt. Hmmmm.

And Lili Ledy is known for nothing, if not quality control - amirite?!?

Curious on that Mxy observation B - You think it's maybe likely that some Mxys got a blue deco, while the rest were repainted purple? Was it common for LL to undercoat colors like that?

Blue paint is definitely the undercoat. Here are my two boxed examples. Left shows purple on top of blue and right shows blue underneath purple (by the ear, hint hint). And I'm 95% certain I have a loose all blue version here somewhere.

And I have not noticed any other character head paint in LedyLand getting two coats of Earl Scheib, but I'm gonna look again.

Agreed on both counts. Ledy Superman seller should be posting new photos to the listing soon. The Robin seller needs a few days.

Yeah, true. His camera may not be able to pick up the stitch holes, but let's ask for some closeups.

What I was jabbing at with the idea fork is: was is it maybe a running change?
