Well, treasure for me, maybe not anyone else. (can stretch this to make it Mego related, super hero related anyway) Digging through the attic for something unrelated, I found my stash of old posters, stored away over 20 years ago, including these two:
These were always my favorites, as indicated by the dog eared corners from moving them around every time I moved, and rearranging at times. They aren't in great shape, dog eared, torn, tape repaired, water damage, but I was very happy to find them. They are marked on the bottom "1974 National periodical publications", no other markings. I realize the copyright date is not always indicative of release date, but that would put me at 12 (in 1974) and that seems to me about the time I got them. I guess you could describe them as "Day Glo", not sure if that term was around then though. They are very bright colors, and as I recall, looked really neat under a black light I searched ebay, and did a few different google searches, but cannot find any information or images showing these. Don't think they were anything special, but I was happy to find them, and now they are framed to help preserve them, just thought some of you may enjoy seeing them. Also found this one:
Farrah Fawcett's character from the Logan's Run movie, and it has the Movie logo at the bottom of the poster, another of my all time favorite posters
Hope these bring back some happy memories for some of you
