Just wanted to interrupt the 8" VB talk for a sec to mention my pre-order for BBP's 4" basic Brock Samson figure arrived today (even though I was expecting it next month, but whatever) and he's pretty great...
I read a review of this figure the other day that led me to believe the paint apps would be sloppy, but both of mine arrived perfect and clean. I'm really impressed! For anyone who wasn't into the 8" retro line (and I can only imagine those people are non-Mego lovers because there really isn't a more perfect license for re-Megos), this line, or at least Brock, is everything one could want from a faithfully rendered action figure from this animated series. He isn't super-poseable, but has plenty of articulation, especially for an 'animated' style figure, and looks very on-model. I'll definitely be picking up the Bloody SDCC version and pre-ordering the rest. I hope anyone who's a Venture fan does the same!
