I'm presenting at a Mini Maker Faire

I submitted an application to the OSCON (open-source software conference) Mini Maker Faire here in Portland to talk about home manufacturing of toys. They accepted, so next Wednesday I'll be setting up a table of Laser Mego stuff and giving some demonstrations of bending acrylic and cutting and applying vinyl to acrylic. (I won't be demoing the laser cutter as its too bulky to move.) Should be fun, but I'll have to explain what Mego figures are and will probably send people to the Mego Museum for info.

I went to the Detroit. Maker faire last summer and loved how much it felt like walking into an issue of MAKE.
