      Film? To heck with that!
I wanna see this as a WEEKLY SERIES!
Let's really flesh out these characters and their relationships!
If they can make the WALKING DEAD work, they can make this work!
Totally on board with your take on the costumes and designs!
      How refreshing would that be?

Will you be able to post a video of the performance here for us to see?

Three of the student cast members of my upcoming School Stage Play Fathers of the Dark Knight met with me on a New York City rooftop this evening.

Our goal was to shoot a series of “glamor” stills to help promote our play and assist in our upcoming fund-raising efforts.

The kids had an AWESOME time, and we all walked away VERY proud of the images we captured . We feel they really represent the mood and tone of our intended noir stage play.

I hope you enjoy these images...

This 16 year old is a VERY talented and experienced young actor, and tonight marks his first evening wearing his custom-made costume. I am thrilled and honored to have him bring this classic character to life for our production!

                            This looks fantastic,
although I do miss seeing Batman's eyes,
especially since the young actress portraying Batgirl has very expressive eyes.

And therein lies the logic in my approach to these characters:

The way I see it, The Riddler, Batgirl, (and Robin The Boy Wonder) are all VERY expressive characters who's expressive EYES should be NOT be covered. This emphasizes their humanity, bravery, fear, villainy, vulnerability, etc.

But The Batman is cold, emotionless, and virtually non-expressive. He cannot be bargained with. He cannot be reasoned with. He cannot be compromised with. He is just an unstoppable force... and dark boogeyman that may or may NOT be human.

I have ALWAYS believed that a live action version of The Batman should NOT have eyes that are visible. It destroys the illusion of him being something other than a man, and he loses a LOT of his mystique. When I saw Ben Affleck's lenses cowl lenses in "Daredevil" I felt I was on the right track in my thinking.

When a neo-modern live-action big-budget Batman was introduced by Tim Burton in 1989, one of the great disappointments for me (among many) was the fact that you could see Michael Keaton's eyes through the cowl. And every actor after Keaton who played the role had their eyes revealed as well (much to my chagrin)
