    One of my all time favorite toys! Still have my original Lion set. The new one from Mattel has made it the Voltron toy I always wanted. If you are skeptical...don't be. The figures are great and once it is put together it will dominate your Shogun warriors!

    I knew a kid who had the large die-cast Voltron like that. He offered to trade it to me for something I had (I can't remember what) and was pretty adamant about it, so I went for it. I had it for a few hours before his redneck mother and sister came stomping over to my house accusing me of stealing it. My mother came to my defense, but I lost the Voltron. Never wanted it after that.

    yeah there have been other things that said gone for good and then were available again, with mattycollector I would never rule anything out

    Heee heeee..... We lucked out around here and had a store during the early to mid 80's that was an actual Japanese toy store, stocking nothing but imported toys. I managed to get the Japanese Go Lion version of that set. It was mind-numbingly awesome! Came with all the extra weapons, a zillion shooty missiles....
