I don't know what the consensus is, but the Head, Top, Pants (if elastic waist is correct) and shoes (without pin holes) are all that matter and those are the items that you should base your value on. The 'all' original T2 body and Barbie camera mean nothing in terms of value.

I have owned several of these and own one currently. Everything about this is right. The pants are legit - they are not the Cap pants. The Cap pants are a different shade of blue and can be spotted fairly easily. From the pictures - as far as I can tell - there are no pin holes in the shoes. These are the correct pants, shirt, shoes, and head for this figure.

The camera was not made for this figure, so it is just a bonus. These were not sent with a Type 1 or Type 2 body, they (the head, shoes, shirt, and pants) came in a baggie inside a brown mailer box with Clark Kent. You had to secure a body to dress. If a kid waited to build his Alter Ego, he could have used either a Type 1 or Type 2 body once they were released. The clothes fit tighter on a Type 2, but they work nonetheless. So the body type is not relevant either.

If someone has been looking for this figure, this is as nice a set as I have seen offered in a long time.

Even though the auction description has been argued, cussed, discussed, and scrutinized, none of that changes the fact that this is a genuine, authentic Peter Parker Alter Ego.

Disclaimer: This is all my opinion and nothing else You can take it and $8 and go buy yourself a Starbucks coffee.

I'm not for or against his descriptions, but he has 100% feedback so obviously buyers don't mind his descriptions or products.

His Alter ego Peter Parker is very nice!

I'm sure it will do well.

You would think as often as these type of posts come up, he would at least try to defend himself.

I don't think anything good would come of it if he were to come here to try to defend himself.

Wow, $24 for Peter Parker and a rock solid $1000 for the über scarce Original Camera.

I agree. The camera, however from my research is NOT needed to be complete. Would love to be proven wrong (I'd run right and buy a camera if I was proven wrong.)

^ You are right Len. Camera did not come with him originally. Looks cool and works since he's a photographer, but definitely an extra only.
