I'm a mile from the Gulf and this is the first time I've been on the east side of a slow moving storm, it's pretty wet over here. The road is closed four houses down, hopefully it lets up a bit tonight. Found two small roof leaks today as well...

Spent the morning taking out a few trees at work, one which had nestled itself down atop a client's car and partially on the roof of the house. It was pouring just blocks away, so close you could see it but it stayed away until after we finished bringing down the last tree.

I've gotten well over 12 inches of rain since Thursday.
Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday.

You guys had record rain up there last year, didn't ya?
Send it to Kentucky! Yard is dry as a bone, and no chance of rain all week. When we left Disney World a few weeks back the rain was coming in, and we got pretty soaked the last day. Wish I'd brought some back with me!
