Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is here!

My son and I have been looking forward to this one for a long time. Played it for a few hours last night and wasn't disappointed! Not much of a gamer, so it takes me a while for my eyes/brain to adjust and follow what is going on. The split-screen feature for two players takes a bit of getting used to, but we've played it on some of the more recent Lego games.

So far we've just seen Superman and one other non-Batman hero, but it's looking like a whole lot of fun!!!

I so want (need) this game. Looks awesome. If it's as good as Lego Star Wars (I have both of them), then it's a must buy. Hell, I'll buy it anyway, who cares?

Just FYI, there are actually 3 Lego Star Wars game. The last one is based on The Clone Wars animated series. I don't like it as well as the first two, as the game play is more complicated and it's a bit hard to follow, but that may be just me.

We got to play Superman last night, and I have to say it was really fun. Also a surprise villain showed up that I hadn't seen in any of the press materials.

Ah, right, I had forgotten about that one. That's another one I've been meaning to get.

I love surprise villians/characters that appear in certain things that haven't been announced show up. It's a very cool surprise.

My son finished this in 3 days with his best friend...and that was with breaks throughout (I don't let him play for more then 1 hr without taking a 30 min break).

He loved it and is playing it again.

The game goes by REALLY fast. Lots of stuff to find in Gotham, and Gold bricks so you can buy the other characters. I've been avoiding the cheat codes so we can play it right.

I think I'm going to have to return our copy of the game. It is very glitchy. Freezes up a lot, and player two sometimes drops out and it won't allow you to come back in unless you restart the whole system. I thought at first THAT was the Wii remote going bad, but it works fine on all of our other games.

Anyone else had these problems with the Wii version?
