    reMegoMeet

I had a great time as always. the missing regulars were definitely noticeable. i told a couple people while i was there that it just seemed quieter.
I had my usual fun with costumes and unloading my clutter. Everyone who bought from me got great prices and i got less stuff - win EXCEPT I foolishly traded 2 mego for a giant re-star trek bridge in box from ToyMan Chris -I love it and will happily set it up but it didn't exactly match my down sizing goal.

i really dig you all and i don't even consider this a convention. it is an annual club meeting. what other convention do you just walk away from your table with all of your merchandise out? at a con i spend almost the entire time at my table and very little time wandering around. if i have no table at a con i wander around and occasionally strike up conversation with strangers or near strangers. here i know most of the people and the ones that are new are welcomed in like they are family.

i have posted pics from the meet here

lily insisted that eleanor and amanda stay home because she considers this OUR weekend. she missed Del and the kitbash table and art's art. she still was really excited to make a figure. she is currently gaga for mythology so she made Athena. she had a clear vision of what the figure should be. Brian Leitner, Austin Hough, randomaxe, Derek C, and Doc Mego either donated or gave cheap pieces for the custom. It is displayed in the hallway here now. she also was excited about costumes - the batmite outfit was made for eleanor but lily had fun with it.

my friends that i stay with asked what i wanted for breakfast - I said anything. they asked again so i gave a detailed list of my demands - when i got up it was all there!

i wound up getting sick Saturday night and feeling miserable for 3 days

    awesome pics as always, Brue.
Love the customs - assuming that is your daughters (and other kids) entries in the kids kitbash comp. Hers is the one with the staff? Love the Flashbacca as well.

I had a good time sitting and chatting with you and Chad. Next year I will try and stay much longer. Now that my wife knows the surrounding area I won't feel quite as guilty since she knows there are things she can get into as well. Although, after Chad's little pep talk about sculpting she is wanting to give customizing a try.

Glad we our transaction this year was less jarring than last year's Sulu deal. Love the Star Wars cards, couldn't beat that price. I gave the dupes to a friend who was happily surprised.

Great job on Athena, and very impressive that she knows mythology. Wow.

Farley's stuff is incredible. His sculpts are always top notch. Don't sell yourself short though, your entry this year was right up there.
