These guys said that bacon had jumped the shark back in 2007. That may have been a bit early (especially here in central Ohio, which is 2-3 years behind the coasts on popular trends), but I think we've now passed that point.

Voodoo donuts in Portland, OR has a bacon topped maple bar. The best donut I've ever had.
