Who predicted another Archie Superhero revival?

I can't remember who called it, but the Crusaders are getting yet another kick at the can.

and it will do just as well as the last 3 or 4 revivals
Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday.

I actually wish they would succeed at one of these revivals, as I do like the archie heroes, in particular The Fly & The Web. the problem is they just never DO them, that is, they never just hire a top notch writer & artist and do a regular comic book. They always re-invent them, change them, give them new identities etc.
And while the Impact versions did pretty ok, they ran for at least a year or two, there's no reason Archie couldn't be publishing an ongoing series or two without shifting the franchise to DC- who should be ashamed for taking it & then running it into the ground.
Another problem for Archie is that they can't decide if they are serious heroes or part of the Archie-verse. If ever a line needed the "New 52" approach to costumes & storytelling, this one is it. And yet, I would almost bet The Shield will end up crossing over with archie within a few months of the launch of this- thereby insuring it gets relegated to the kid section and never finds an audience. Something currently happening to the Stan Lee bbok, Mighty 7- has anyone actually seen that book anywhere? I special ordered a copy & I think it was the only copy the store got in (and it was pretty crappy too).
This version looks to try & make them "kid-friendly", so it's gonna tank sadly. Is there a cartoon involved with this? It looks like it might be part of something like that.

Theres some really good writers and artist that we never see anymore that could tackle something like this and do an amazing job yet it almost never happens.

I agree that it should be done from Archie to. Theres not much in modern comics that gets my attention anymore and for good reason....

    Hmmmm....

NOTHING ever REALLY goes away.... it's always being pitched by someone, somewhere. Even a barely remembered idea is considered better than a new one.

    *sigh*
