By jove, you're right! I just took a close side by side look at my two Robins, and yeah, I can clearly see that now. I guess that the larger head just came out kind of distorted so that I never noticed the resemblance before.

ok I did a side by side of the CA Spidey mask/head and the one from the rack toy. Tho they are not exact, I would go out on a limb and say the blow mold Spidey is a copy taken from the CA mask. But this is a very basic outline for the copy. It is its own sculpt.
Amazing stuff.
