They are knockoffs made of cheap plastic and surplus or reject Mego accessories. They also have robin and batman, and I'm sure some others....someone here will know more. Also really priced high!
Released in the late 1980s, the parts are a mix of left over Mego and Captain action.
The first series is almost all Captain Action.

Yep, bootleg toys consisting of cheap, blowmolded bodies wearing factory leftover genuine Mego outfits. Sold around the late 80's I believe, in the UK, Canada and maybe parts of Asia. At one point these were super rare, but there was a find several years back and a bunch hit the market. At one point, this guy might have brought $200, but after the find, supply has met demand. I paid around $25-30 each for most of mine. The one in this auction is missing a gun (yes, Spidey came with a gun!).
One series consisted of Supes, Batman, Robin, Spidey, and an unidentified Capt Action-ish figure in a black leotard. Another much rarer series is known to exist, containing Captain America, Phantom, Flash Gordon and others (these ones had Captain Action factory leftovers instead of Mego ones).

These are cool but asking prices are usually too high these days. I think they ought to range from $25-75 complete/carded depending on scarcity.
I agree, the find really brought down the prices of these. Then again, if all those new extra ones have now been completely absorbed into the collectors market, and they've once again become something that rarely shows up for sale, who knows.....

Actually, the CA ones would be series one. If you do some a search on the forum for "Heroes Accessories" it should bring up a thread or two with some pics. I do recall seeing a pic of the Captain America one (sans mask).
