Completely forgot I had this.. (it was your Octo Nazgul that triggered this thought) great (and simple) action set
that could have (and should have) been made back in the 70's
    rather than 2006:

Anyone know from what model kit these may have come from?
Hello. Chris nailed it. The spider on the left is from the Dr. Jekyll as Mr Hyde kit. The second spider is from the Dracula kit. Heres a pic of the Hyde kit I have. Cheers!

Does anyone remember that set of famous ghost figures they did a number of years back? It had Napoleon, Ann Bolyen, Edgar Allen Poe and someone else....I have the set but for the life of me, I can't find them or I'd post some pics. Their heads glowed. Very, very cool set...
So I finally found mine and snapped a few pics....

                    and some glow shots....

Man, those are eerie. I wouldn't want to stumble into a dark toy room in the night and see those things glowing!!!

Cool thread, cool toys. I am trying to complete the 4" Universal Monsters set. I have the Swamp Thing loose, if anyone wants to make an offer. I remember having the Interplanetary UFO and several of the Aurora kits. There is also Duke Nukem from the Captain Planet line. I got a couple of soft drink cups for movie promos, probably BK, which came with mini frisbee lids that glowed. I remember having a plastic golf ball that glowed. I have a plastic Star Trek model ship that glows. I do not remember the company off hand, they are out of business, but the models were same scale as micromachines and predate them. They had all of the starships from the classic tech manual: Heavy Cruiser, Scout/Destroyer, Tug with 2 cargo containers, and Dreadnought. They came in basic grey plastic, green glow, and blue glow. I have the Tug in green, and the other 3 ships in grey. I also have that Spectre for my DCIH collection, because the ability to change size was one of his powers. I have done custom figures of Black Lanterns in 1/18 scale and used glow paint for the details. I would like to do a custom Bride figure for the Universal Monsters that would glow.

                        CCC.

I really love that Edgar Allen Poe one. I had that Anne Boelyn one and I sold it! Dumb. Never sell a decapitated figure. You'll regret it later.

WooT! Finally got around to photo'ing the next batch of glow toys! Always such a production. If anybody needs any tips, I'm finally getting the process down, sort of.

I have here Bone Hooded One, Muppets Uncle Deadly, Casper Ghostly Trio, Playmobil Spirit, and rare Soma 80's Monster Men!

I just recently saw a review somewhere on a Nightfighter Robocop that glows.

I think it's a TRU exclusive..it's pretty cool, but a bit pricey....I think Kenner made one with the original line as well
