As small as this was, this was fun as a kid.
Maybe the first thing you got that glowed in the dark.
Cracker Jack or Gum ball toy.
and how many of you played Lightning Bug (firefly) whiffle ball?
Come on admit it, you've taken a swing or two to see that yellow glow rainbow at night!

My grandmother had a whole jar of these type of Cracker Jack/gumball premiums. She called them "trinkets". What I wouldn't give to go through that jar now. This light bulb was among them I know!
These are all so awesome....If I had the space, I'd love to have one room set aside with nothing but glow in the dark items and a few black lights....
Does anyone remember that set of famous ghost figures they did a number of years back? It had Napoleon, Ann Bolyen, Edgar Allen Poe and someone else....I have the set but for the life of me, I can't find them or I'd post some pics. Their heads glowed. Very, very cool set...

One of the best things is when you don't even know a toy has special GID capabilities until you turn out the light, and holy crap it glows!!
*edit*
As I'm going through my archives looking for glow toys to take pics of, I can't help but notice how many toys don't have glow features that would have been awesome with it!
How cool would a Kenner Alien have been with glow features and a pop-out glow mouth (actually they probably did make one and I'm unaware).
How cool would a Krofft Sigmund the Sea Monster have been in a glow edition?! Having nothing to do with the show, it just would have been cool.
I wish they would have made the Little Apple Dolls glow, because they're just not creepy enough.
Those Kooky Spooky reminds of another GITD toy I've had since I was a kid; Avon's Gilroy the Ghost lip balm and GITD finger puppet. My sister used to be an Avon lady and gave it to me when I was 9.
