    Glow in the dark toys......

So the other day I had an epiphany....I love glow in the dark toys! For instance, I just purchased a Six Million Dollar Man Bionic Transport and Repair station (thanks Neutron X!!) just because I remember the glow in the dark x-ray screen from when I was a kid. I know that many here have a similar obsession. So I was curious, in your opinion, what toys do you feel made the best use of being able to glow in the dark?

I love LOVE glow in the dark toys. Glow and translucent plastic are the best toy gimmicks ever.

So many great glow toys and figures. MOTU Scare Glow is right at the top of heap for best glow figure in my opinion
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I'll give the 'glow in the dark frisbee' my vote! Even though I'm more into the arts than physical compatition. Not only did you get to play at night and find it easily, fully charged, it could out do most battery lamps of the time.

I was a sucker for pretty much anything that glowed in the dark, especially if it was monster related.

tie for best glow toy. Kenners 1979 Alien and ghost of Cap'n Kidd.
Aurora Trex glow teeth and nails. yes!!!
Tomland glow aliens and monsters. oh yeah.

Glow is still good. There is an AWESOME lego monster hunter train set that is chock full of glowing goodness in today's toy market. I am saving my pennies for it.

Matchbox Fighting Furies "Ghost of Captain Kidd"--one of the best toys ever, striking in its use of glow plastic.

I gotta go with Captain Kidd too. I also used to play with the Fisher Price Construx sets and after building my space ships would turn the lights off. With all the glow in the dark parts they had, they looked way cool.

During the 70's yo-yo craze, this was popular and I still have mine somewhere!

My favorites growing up were the Duncan yo-yo; the AMT "interplanetary UFO" model; and from around 1969 (no idea who made it, and no longer have it) a small hard plastic ball of the moon. The last two made it into many a Star Trek Mego adventure.
                              It's all good!
