Retro Playgrounds Part 2: Story Book Themes

Another return to the retro play ground this time our adventures are grounded to Earth but they are no less fantastic. Journey now to Story Book Themed Playgrounds. Castles, Giant Shoes and Spiders all draped with a little bit of 70's funk.

In case you missed our last entry in this series, it was Space Themed Playgrounds which will return with a new entry in a month or so.

I love the copyright infringing artwork of "Woody Woodpecker" and "PorkyPig" on the vomit inducer! Lawsuit!

The Submarine could come from the young adult readers series, based on "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea".

There's more where that came from, Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, etc are all just referred to with generic names in this thing.

Uh, OK that works. I just like Submarines though...

I think the barrel kinda looks like fun! As do the Old Woman's shoe and the spiral castle slide.

WOW I remember the spider one from a park in south london..near sydnham i think...lol we used to sit on it when we were 14 drinking ruddles ale, smoking moore menthols (saved buying mints and looked like clint eastwood cheroots) and trying to chat up girls.I remember in my infant school we had a huge concrete saddle and train to climb/play over....cue many a cracked noggin...
