I remember watching this as a kid and thinking it was slow. Really, really slow.

The Ben Bova "fictional" account of it's making is a fun read.

I picket that DVD set up when it came out. Loved it as a kid - great ship design, eerie sound track. Walter Koenig shows up in a few episodes!

I remember watching this as a kid. I almost bought the DVD set a while back. Might still do so.

Always loved the ship design and those opening effects, the rest can be tricky to watch.

I got to speak to Keir Dullea about the show once and he had a lot to say.

At one point I had a friend working with Robin Ward (Garth) and I tried to push some communication through him but they didn't like each other....

Heh, I think it came out in 1973, syndicated in the US but yanked after 16 shows. Due to Canadian content laws, we watched it endlessly.

Explains why I never saw it. A year before I was born, and probably little to no syndication here.
