    Ape Return to the Planet of the Apes

    Working on my next project. Need to take the paint brush to it again for some final touch-up and then start on the clothes. Oh, and restring the figure to get rid of the pee-dance he seems to be doing.

    Thanks. Working on a female gorilla tonight. The head just came out of the oven. For this Cornelius I'm really thinking of re-doing the ears. Taking them off and doing new ones that are a bit more flush. Any thoughts?

    I can see where you'd maybe want them more flush if you're trying for more of the MEGO chimp ear design... Personally, I like the ears the way you have them... Chimps do have large ears, so making them more prominent makes sense and gives him a different look (in a good way)...
