The addition of the big toy auction team has definitely made this one of the liveliest and most entertaining events at the meet in the past couple of years. Fun stuff this year as last. Great customs folks!

The "real" auction format is very cool . . . . Certainly one of the Highlights of the event!
Lots of fun and prodding going on!

A big Thanks to everyone for your support. As always, we had a great time and, through your efforts, managed to just about double last years fundraising efforts for the Museum.

Many Thanks to Steve and Chris for putting everything together and getting people to donate, and for the folks at the Kruger Street Toy and Train musuem for all their help and kindness in getting us set up. The fact that it all looks so seemless and laid back is a testament to the great work that all of those folks put into this.

A huge Thanks to all of our donors for making this thing possible year after year - I am always amazed at the level of talent, skill, and imagination that goes into these things, and only hope that we managed to represent them in a way that does them justice.

And finally, Thanks to all of our bidders for being so lively and making this a fun event. We deal with a lot of crowds selling a lot of different merchandise, but this auction is one I look forward to every year. The level of excitement, the friendliness (even among competitors), and the enthusiasm makes this something we hope to do again, and make a little better each time. It was great to finally put some faces to the names, and with a little luck next year, we hope to meet even more of you!

I know some had issues with the 15% fee but truthfully that's not any different than any live auction I've been to. Most are between 10 and 15%. After seeing it last year, having the auction this way definitely benefits the Museum. The returns and excitement are way higher. I personally thank Chris for doing this. When you come right down to it, the Museum has benefitted from his being there and that's the important thing. I look forward to the excitement next year too.
    GFY!!!
