Justice League The Movie Coming Soon

With the success of the Avengers film, there's a lot of talk about a Justice League movie now. Looks like it's getting closer to happening. One major difference, instead of giving each character a set up movie first, this would be a recast on the characters that already have a film. On one hand this is great cause no Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern but on the other, no Christian Bale as Batman. This could be good but many people may not know much about a character like say Cyborg or Martian Manhunter or even the background of someone like Wonder Woman and no one wants to sit through two and a half hours of origin stories. One idea would be to do the ensemble movie first and then work backwards and give the characters their individual movies later on. That way Bale's Batman won't be so fresh when he get's his next solo film with a different actor. One thing I would love to see (that many of you probably would not) is the return of Welling as Superman.

I think Welling would be better than Routh. Also I hope they don't do the "Dune" thing. When I went to see that. Ushers pushed a one page data sheet to cover all the info they did'nt have time to address in the film.

OOPS!!! I forgot this! Maybe they can handle this like 70's LOTR. Have a couple TV special Primers (Like the Hobbit) and then go Big Screen with Justice League.

No Christian Bale as Batman is not the end of the world .

The great thing about a JLA movie is, there is no need to do origins of Supes, GL, or Bats. We get it. The movie could be used to intro WW, Flash, and Aquaman/Martian Manhunter, with their origins possibly tied into the threat the JLA faces.

The difficulty will be, IMO, what threat? Hopefully Darkseid, because aliens will seem like an Avengers rip-off.

Marvel has so kicked the can of DC with all the movie success. Justice leage would be best served with some setup made for tv movies or something to introduce these characters to everyone.

When WATCHMEN and X-MEN wre successful and had less popular
characters than GREEN LANTERN, FLASH and AQUAMAN, why do
people persist with the kind of mindset you posted?

EDITED TO ADD: I was being a tad terse in tone there...
altho' I could chalk it up to trying to shake an answer out
anyone (you included) regarding this "building solo movie" vs.
"immediate group movie" issue.

Whatever the case, my sincere apologies offered.
