That would be the Intruder Commander. One of my favorites.

i just recently got one of those. first time i had ever even seen one in person. they are bigger than I thought they were but still goofy looking. i don't think he looks like AJ though

I always thought those Intruders looked like they belonged to some other line. They don't have the same articulation or scale as the G.I. Joe figures do.

It's kind of an interesting concept , like having a full size guy being attacked by a 4' tall, 300 lb, midget wrestler.
It also stays true to all of the Adventure Team adversaries up to that point; the 3 ( scale) foot long shark, the 4' alligator, the 3' gorilla, etc.
All these creatures that should be as large or larger than Joe, are about haif, to 1/3rd the size they should be.
But the Intruders are COOL little guys, I like 'em.
