If it's "Drama" in the sense that Pushing Daisies, Dead Like Me and Wonderfalls were one hour shows, I can see it working. The actors play their roles very straight and earnest, but the situations they find themselves in are absurd, whimsical, and darkly comic. I have no doubt that we'll also have that Amelie/Tim Burton aesthetic going on, since that was such a big part of Pushing Daisies.
So I'd hazard a guess that it won't have a laugh track or sitcom plot shenanigans like the original. Note that all three of Fuller's other shows are "client based" premises... which might hint at the direction this will take. I'm hoping that Mocking Bird Lane takes place in the "Fuller-verse", just so we have the possibility of Reapers or the Pie Maker showing up.
Unfortunately, other than the great first season of Heroes and Star Trek Voyager, Fuller's work has really been geared towards cult appeal rather than mass audiences. I suspect it might get the same critical acclaim and small devoted following the other shows have, and if they have a large budget that means it won't last very long either.
