      They should.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

Good question, Pat. I'd like to see that, too.

Did I see they were going to make a second line, Destroyer maybe, or was that someone else?

For the record, this past weekend I finally took to disassembling my set to fix the "leaning" problem and I gotta tell ya, these new bodies are tough!

Seriously I pulled, tugged, jerked and prodded them and not so much as a single crack. One thing that I did notice however is that the rubber on the feet have the black spots on them as rche had pointed out.

And also to note, once you un-criss-cross the rubber bands these guys are as perfect as a Mego body can get.

That is so hard to believe, considering how many fragments I have in the bottom of a bin.

I wish the arms had a swivel bicep.

CTVT is a strange company. They've produced some of the craziest accesories. The wrestling gear stuff is just surreal.

Believe me hedrap, no one is more surprised and still slightly paranoid than myself. It's those reasons there that I was just going to leave them be with the lean and all but it just got to me and I had to try. I'm really glad I did now.

My only issue with the bodies are they are too tightly strung. It's virtually impossible to get them to stand except in one position. I got the eight inch because they looked like a fair representation of my original 12 inch classics. I think these will become instant customs for people who want later (or earlier) outfits. So I think their creation was a worth while venture. If CTVT was smart, they would just make and sell costume pieces that can be made into other outfits and take KISS out of the equation so they profit more from the custom buyers. Just my thinking.

That's a great idea and very "MEGO" at the same time.

Check out the tutorial from the customizing forum. You can get the elastic string at a fabric shop. I actually restrung the 8 inch figures and it worked pretty well. It DID take some messing around... I had to do it over a few times. Keep at it and try pulling the string very tight in different spots along the way. Also, pick up some metal jump-rings. Jump-rings are wire that has been formed into a circular ring. You'll need to put those around the arms and legs before re-stringing.

yeah. The first one is a bit tricky. After that, it's like riding a bike. You'll be much happier with these guys once they've been fixed.
