"Big" John Buscema---another legend!!! I liked his super-hero stuff, but I LOVED his stuff on Conan and The Silver Surfer, two diametrically opposed characters that seemed to bring out the best in Big JB!!!

I don't think anyone had as big an influence on my art as John. Discovering his Conan at age 12 (old copies at a used book store) was eye-opening. I'd really only seen superheroes until that point.
Too obsessed to turn back
The man, the myth, the legend... I LOVE John Buscema. I love his brother's work (Sal) even more! Probably two of the biggest influences on my artistic life.
It's not how hard you hit, but how hard you can be hit and still move forward.
