At one point this was easily a $4000+ piece, maybe as high as $8-10K.
Now, who knows? Probably less, but I would expect at least $2K.
BUYING MOC 8" Tomlands (Star Raiders, Famous Monsters of Legend, Creatures from Other Worlds, Star Command, etc)
It is definitely worth the investment regardless of the grey head.
i'm game, upto a conservative number...I sold my red card GA a few years ago when I abondoned the "red" cards, for $2500 (it was every bit as nice)... if the market is down on them now, I will take a shot...otherwise, still ok not having, as I don't consider it a "must have"
And this treasure goes to... NewForce
Congratulations, Rick. I know he wasn't a must have, but I think you will be really happy to see him lined up next to your 76, 77, and Kresge.

I threw in what I figured was less than 50% high value bid (3555.55) and was actually "suprised" i won (really thought it would go for 4K+)... seller is in PR, so curious about shipping and such, but I'll post once I get
nice! congrats

I have some mixed emotions on the figure...I was basing my bidding on Dan's eval, knowing that I obviously sold my GA too cheap ...but, I bought it really cheap, so figured I didn't maximize the retail, and I was fine with that...but it is always "hard" for me to pay more to put a piece "back" into the collection, than I sold a similar one for...that said, the guy I sold it to has all 4 red cards, so I guess that made it a good deal and a good deed
Even as a newbie I can see that is a special item ... hope you don't me chiming in on the congrats for the auction win.
